Our second Made By The Marlowe production ran for three weeks in The Marlowe Studio in December 2015.

Written by our Literary Associate Simon Mendes da Costa, who also wrote the West End hit Losing Louis, this play was a touching comedy about dating for the middle-aged in the internet age.

The production, which like Beached was supported by Arts Council England and The Marlowe Theatre Development Trust, received positive reviews from both the local and national press.

The Guardian's distinguished theatre critic Michael Billington said the play had "angst-ridden gaiety" and "the virtue of reversing the usual stereotypes." The Stage gave it four stars, and the editor of Kent Life said it was a, "beautifully nuanced piece of theatre."
